#Cheap Monday opens Pop-Up store

Ahead of the Fashion Week and Fashion Night, Cheap Monday opens an exclusive Pop-up Store in Stockholm.

You are going to run across with the whole range of Cheap Monday.
The pop-up store is the brand's first independent retail outlet in Sweden, better Smålandsgatan 16.
It opened his doors on the 23rd of August and remains open until a they decide to close it again on a beautiful morning in Spring 2014.

Here my 7 things about myself

- The first is by far the best...well at least at the moment with my sweet 25 years...I can eat everything without getting fat :D that's awesome right? I eat every imaginable shit and my balance does not answer anything... and yes this is perfect for my sugar addictions :S And yes I am sugar addicted... when I don't get my sugar... that's going to end bad....

- I secretly hear Post-Hardcore / Metalcore Bads with some influence of Pop-Funk. That's awesome music... I mostly hear it while fitness or walking though the city!

- I love post-its... Every time I can I write my stuff on my post-its :D

- I am not afraid to laugh alone :D I am a loud laugher, alone or with others, for example when watching movies.

- Every time I see some baby animals I have to stay still for some moments and then I say owwwwww... and I am not afraid to ask if I can caress a baby puppy <3

- I don't have ONE muscle in my body... that's why I can't even do 3 push ups:S

- The baddest about myself, and that makes me in the same way extremely cool... I know how SPSS works... Oh yes!! By the way that's a statistical program which is used in Psychology.

The Martini

grew up in a collaboration between Fee Romero from La Roquette and Katrin Weber from Ethel Vaughn.

The all over printed awesome sweater inspired by the 90's Bill Cosby look.
The best? It is a reversal sweater and Ethel Vaughn produces all of their collection parts solely in Germany.

The black and white camo pattern on the reversal is a design through the australian graphic designer Sam Chirnside (Blog).

#Liebster Award

Ohhh this is so sweet... we have been nominated for the "Liebster Award"!!

The gorgeous Rose from Wretched and Divine nominated us a few days ago.
We did not have the time to answer her questions before....but nowwww we have!

Actually her questions are really complicated for us XD We had to give thoughts about them quite a lot!!
As the questions are predestined for only one person, I am going to answer the questions (Me, Selina XD)
So here our answers / questions and of course our favourites / nominates

1. List five fun facts about yourself. (I know this isn’t a question!)

Oh this is a mean question (not question)!!! Actually I think that I am always funny haha!! Well I asked my best friend Hanna what's funny about me! So we chose these answers. I always talk like a little baby when I am talking on the phone! Sometimes people think I am a child...and actually I turned 25 in July! And with 25 my size of shoe is 32,5 (US 1) in Vans!! Sometimes I fall on the floor while trying to undress my trousers, but only if someone is watching, like for example in the changing room in the fitness. I still watch Nickelodeon ! But only the serious ones... Spongebob you know !! Sometimes, when I am bored I learn by heart some licence numbers of cars!! haha

2. Who is your guilty pleasure musician?

That's really embarrassing, but I sometimes hear Justin Bieber...and yes I do even have a t-shirt with his face on!! oh damn... awkward! But sometimes the songs make good moods!

3. Describe your latest dream! (The type of dream you have when you are asleep.)

Actually I always have really weird dreams... maybe I should have written this in question number one because they are mostly really funny when I wake up and run in the kitchen and tell my flat mates what kind of bullshit I dreamed again. My latest dream was last night.... I dreamed that dinosaurs took the world domination!! I know that sounds weird but I was really scared and sooo sad because everybody screamed in my dream!! But as I told my boyfriend by dream he just laugh and the I had to laugh to because it sounds so funny!! As I study psychology I should maybe worry haha!!

4. What are five things you want to do before you die? You can write more than five if you like!

That's a good question! First thing I really want to do is see the world as much as I can! My dad bought me a book called "1000 places to see before you die", well I really need to see every one of them! I am going to start next year with my best friend Hanna a round the world trip! I know we can't see everything but at least we'll try. An other thing is that I really want to buy a chalet in Switzerland. I lived so long in Switzerland and I really miss it! I know the next thing is the complete opposite but I would really like to visite a place where people live who don't have the luck the most of us have. I would love to save some money and donate it, but I want to be on location and help... I am not sure if I can trust some foundations... Well I do donate some money... not really much... 73 euro a year for saving penguins!! Sounds maybe more funny as it is!

And last but not least.... I just want to have lived my life!!

5. What is something that most people don’t know about you?

Oh that's sooo bad.... sometimes... when nobody is watching I smell secretly at the socks of my boyfriend before putting them away.... smells like home, haha!! baahhhh

6. Where in the world do you live?

Next Year I am going to move to New York with by boyfriend Sascha. But when I am old (XD) I want to return to Switzerland because it is the besssssst country on earth!

7. How old are you? (This question doesn’t have to be answered if you don’t want to!)


Oh I am soooo old haha, I am 25 and my boyfriend is 22.... I obviously love younger men... toyboy you know XD NOT

8. What kind of music do you like?

Hmm... that depends... When I go out I love house, when I am at home I like everything what's on MTV and when I am at the fitness I love A Day to Remember, that's the real shit!!

9. What can’t you live without (besides the obvious answers such as air, water, etcetera)?

I can't live without my Family, my best friend Hanna, by boyfriend Sascha (well at least sind a few years), my clothes, shoes and bags, my friends and a really good book.

10. How important is blogging to you? Is it something you don’t really care about or your life? Is blogging in the middle? Explain!

As I am first of all studying, but in my free time I love to blog. So yes I would say it is in the middle!! And also not always in my free time, I take my time for my friends and family and for myself....

After presenting together the fashion films ONE for the SS 2012 collection, TWO for the SS 2013 collection and the minidocu "Berlin Nightingales", both introduce now their new film

#Maiami A/W 13 - Ready for a cuddly warm winter?

Well, we definitely are.

There is nothing worse than freezing in winter.

Maike Dietrich, designer of the young knitwear label Maiami based in Berlin, took it to heart and takes us to a trip into the early 70s with focus on the movie "Love Story".

Amazing motives telling stories of ice skating in the snowy Central Park and Harvard campus.

The Fall Winter collection 2013 mixes traditionally handcrafted knits with modern components and provokes a return to natural handmade products with a soft feel.

Fluffy sweaters are very important to us, it is awful to wear a nice handmade sweater in front of the chimney, reading a book and the sweater is itching to whole time. Brrrr...

Anne Gorke SS14 - Artichokes

Anne Gorke had with her label "Anne Gorke" the only fashion show at the Berlin Fashion Week using complete sustainability.

With this futuristic thoughts she presented us some awesome new looks.

Our favourites are the fancy bracelets, the modern shoes and the absolute amazing and gorgeous coats.
The green coats are definitely our favourites and we can't wait for next year to see them in the shops.

New is always better - Y's by Yohji Yamamoto x adidas Originals F/W13

New is always better? In this case new and in our opinion different, and this new difference has become really great.

For his new Y's line, the brilliant designer Yohji Yamamoto reworked in a successful partnership the classic adidas Superstar and renamed it Y's super position.

Not only the optic is renewed, he also reverted to premium materials using suede lace stay, soft leather lining and smooth leather on the toe box replacing the textured shell toe.
The 3 stripes have been transformed with a hand-stitched feel, zigzagging along the side panels made from cotton overhanging the sole.

They exist in two color ways, one version white with red stripes and black heel and the other version mostly black with a white toe box, a white sole and a white heel tab and beige 3 stripes stitch.

They are available from August 10 at Y's stores in Tokyo, No6 London, No74 Berlin, No42 Paris and in selected fashion retailers worldwide.

After all, we can say that new is definitely not always better but in this case obviously almost the perfect designed reworked sneaker.

Well, you could go to a good museum... in these hot days the only thing you would see are people you don't want to see staring at art they more or less don't understand... but hey, the museums are air-conditioned, OR you could READ about some fashion, some art, some...

Finally, the waiting comes to end. The 5th issue of ΠMagazine - Bright Young Hopefuls - is out now.

Twice a year, the independent ΠMagazine publishes ten editorials of the german fashion scene.
They present what keeps up designers, photographers, stylists, hair & makeup artists moving in our days.

To get to know more about the german fashion scene, the ΠMagazine focuses on strong pictures and ambitious, absolute brilliant graphic design.

On the further photographs, we want to give you an insight of what this absolute impressive, brilliant and colourful Magazine looks like inside.
Obviously we don't want to anticipate something, so you'll have the chance to enjoy the full bright of the Œ Magazine, which is available in the online shop and in some selected  bookshops and concept store.That's why we chose photographs from two editorials on the current issue. Y-3 second store opens in London

Today is the big day... Y-3 opens his second store in London, in the Floral Street, Covent Garden in collaboration with luxury retail Hervia.

On a total area of 150 sqm the sport-style, designed by the avant-garde genius of Yohji Yamamoto in combination with the innovations of Adidas, shows itself to shine.

Valerie A/W 2013 - Scandinavia's finest from the Bread and Butter

As promised in our Bread and Butter post, we want to introduce you to one of our favourite brands we sighted at the Bread and Butter fashion fair in Berlin.

Valerie is a young fashion brand created and designed by Valerie Aflalo.

Spread all over Scandinavia and Europe she creates modern and natural fashion for self-propelled women.

Using finest materials for her plain coloured garments, she defines them with sequins, ribbons, laces all mixed with finest patterned silk.

In her Autumn / Winter collection 2013, she uses, as can be seen on the looks, mostly gray and black.
For me the perfect "colours" for the cold winter. Would you call them colours? We say YES to black. Black makes other colours look like complete fools. As Yves Saint Laurent
